On Thursday, October 30th, a student athlete from West Point Grey Academy who plays badminton was kind enough to use our kimbap tutorial video to make protein and nutrition filled rolls in Canada. Although one student may seem like a little, every small effort contributes to building a larger community of learners who value nutrition, creativity, and cultural connection. We adamantly believe that he will share this knowledge with his peers and fellow athletes/teammates.
What's more amazing is that he has a deep passion for cooking, taking a step further from out video to add Bulgogi (Korean Marinated Beef) into the kimbaps. We are very grateful of the efforts this student has put in for NutrixBloom.
Although it wasn't in-person, it was truly inspiring to see how food can connect people across countries while promoting wellness and awareness of nutrition.
This workshop served as a reminder that food can foster human connections, inspire fresh viewpoints, and promote healthier lifestyle choices. We are appreciative of the opportunity to collaborate with West Point Grey Academy’s community and eager to carry on these workshops with other educational institutions, no matter the number of people there are.
